Match Date: April 17-18, 2004.   Location: Green Valley R&P Club, Columbia, Missouri.

 

Competition Open to: Any member of the National Rifle Association.  Teams will consist of 4 firing members, 1 alternate, a captain and/or coach, and will represent either a club affiliated with the NRA (Rule 2.11), a law enforcement agency (Rule 2.14), or a regular or reserve unit (Rule 2.13).  The team captain or coach may be firing members of the team.  State Association teams may enter the team match (Rule 2.12).  Pickup teams are not allowed (Rule 2.10). An adult must accompany junior shooters.  Signup for NRA membership will be available at the range.

Individual entries must be received no later than Monday April 12th.  Post entries will be accepted up to the stated limit of the range, provided no special relays are required.  Team entries will close @ 9:30am April 17th.  “Leg” match entries will close 2pm April 17th

 

Entry Fee: $38.00 of which a $9.00 fee is forwarded to NRA.  Post entry fee is $2.00.  Junior individual fees will be $20.00.  Team Fees will be $20 per team.  “Leg” match fee an additional $10 cash.

 

Classification of Competitors: NRA Outdoor Pistol Classification will be used. If the competitor has none, an NRA Indoor Pistol Classification can be used. Otherwise, the Master Unclassified will be used.

 

Awards: A Souvenir Award will be issued to each competitor.  Approximately $13.00 per shooter will be used for awards.  The 1st, 2nd and 3rd place medallion awards will be provided by the National Rifle Association.  3 competitors will be required before a class or category can be formed for awards.  3 teams will be needed before awards will be issued.  Teams awards will be 40% of team entries.  5 teams entries will get 2nd awarded, 7 team entries will get 3rd awarded. 

 

Match Schedule for Saturday April 17th, 10am.  4-man Team Match.  Course of fire to be the National Match Course with each of the 3 guns (.22 Cal., Center Fire & .45 Cal.)  30 rounds per gun, 90 rounds total.  Following the team match will be match #17, The Distinguished Pistol Match (description below).  Firing time for the Distinguished Pistol Match to be no earlier than 2pm. 

 

Match #17 NBPRP (Leg) Match: Service Pistol Excellence-In-Competition Match.  $10 cash fee for this match.  No ammo furnished.  Please indicate with your entry if you wish to shoot this match.  Squadding will take place at the conclusion of the Team match.  Minimum of 10 non-distinguished competitors needed for this match to be official. 

 

Match Schedule for Sunday April 18th, 2700 individual Championship

3 relays available: 8:30am, 9:30am, and if the 1st two fill up, 10:30am.  15 shooters per relay.

#1, #6, #11-- 20 Shot Slow Fire @ 50 yards on a B-6 target.

                        #2, #7, #12--30 Shot NMC - 50 yards on B-6 & 25 yards on a B-8 target.

                        #3, #8, #13--20 Shot Timed Fire @ 25 yards on a B-8 target.

                        #4, #9, #14--20 Shot Rapid Fire @ 25 yards on a B-8 target.

                        #5, #10, #15--Subaggregates of 22cal, Center Fire & 45cal Matches.

                        #16--2700 Grand Aggregate

 

Rules: Current NRA Conventional Pistol Rules will apply.          

 

Challenge Fee: $2.00

 

Scoring: Will be performed by fellow competitors. The use of plug type scoring gages will be by range personal only.

 

Directions to the Range: From the I-70/US 63 intersection, go North approximately 100 yards and then turn right (East) onto Route PP. Go past Wendy's and McDonald's restaurants 3.4 miles and turn left (North) onto Wyatt Lane. Travel north 1.5 miles to where the now gravel road comes to a "T". Turn right (East) and travel 0.5 miles to a hard Left curve. Do not take the curve left; turn right into the range's graveled driveway entrance.
