ACTION PISTOL

at Green Valley Rifle and Pistol Club

NRA ACTION PISTOL is the shooting discipline shot in the BIANCHI CUP, the National Action Pistol Championships, held at Green Valley, Hallsville range, during the last week of May each year (current dates are May 21-26, 2007).

The monthly Action Pistol shoot is held on Saturday or Sunday of most months. Dates for 2007 :

March 17 (Saturday)
April 22 (Sunday)
June 16 (Saturday)
July 21 (Saturday)
August 18 (Saturday)
September 8 (Saturday)
October 13 (Saturday)
November 17 (Saturday)

March and April will be NRA Approved matches and scores will be sent into the NRA for classification purposes (see below)

June 16th may be a NRA Regional, pending their approval. It will be our Cameron Cup with a $35 fee, lunch and modest
awards. I feel this in keeping with how John would have wanted it. Grant is working on some of his contacts for awards and
if the NRA approves it we'll have their routine awards too. This is not the Region X Regional that is hosted by Pioneer Gun
Club. Rudy said the rules have changed regarding Regional events and more than one can be held in a designated area.

GV's fee for our routine matches will be $20.00 in 2007.
